Handmade Deer Antler Kilt Pin with Claddagh

$35
Do you have Irish heritage? Are you a fan of wearing a kilt, but haven't found the right kilt pin yet? You may have found just what you're looking for. This is a unique handmade deer antler kilt pin. In the center of this rustic looking adornment is a Claddagh in silver colored metal.

The body of this pin is made from the end of the deer antler closest to the head known as the crown or burr. This part of the antler is known for it's bumpy growths. Because of these bumps, no two antlers are ever the same.

Do not worry. No deer were harmed in the procurement of the deer antler crowns. They are from sheds (naturally cast off by the animal every year).

This means that they are found after the deer has dropped or cast their antlers. The shedding season can vary greatly from one geographic area to the next but it usually occurs between mid December and early April.

In the center of the crown, you will see a metal Claddagh medallion that measures 7/8 inch (2.2 cm). It is antique silver in color.

This pin measures 1 5/8 inches (4.1 cm) Wide by 1 7/8 inches (4.8 cm) Tall.

On the back there are three tie tack style pins to attach the pin to your chosen clothing item.

There is some heft to this pin, but no more than that of the cast metal clan badges that you find to put on your tam. This means it works great to keep that kilt down.

Your pin will be sent USPS with tracking information.
