Scottish Royal Standard Sew On Patch Handmade Scotland Flag Badge
This is a sew on Scottish Royal Standard flag patch. It is a great way to show off your pride in your Scottish heritage, or how well traveled you are.
Originally the Royal Standard is the flag used by members of the Scottish royal family or those representing them, but now you can find it almost everywhere. It is different than the national flag of Scotland (See our St. Andrew's Cross Patch). The main feature of the flag is the red rampant lion in the center. This heraldic symbol can be traced back to 1222 as its first use on a Scottish Royal Flag.
This badge is made of bright golden yellow cotton canvas. Embroidered on it is a red rampant lion with blue tongue. He is bordered by two rows of fleur de lis, also in red. All of which is outlined in black. The patch has a satin stitch edge that protects the fabric from raveling and give the patch is crisp finish.
Our SEW-ON patches are great for personalizing any item. These can include (but are in no way limited to) your jeans, jacket, backpack, messenger bag, sweatshirt, or hat. Or you may just want to add to your patch collection.
Each of our patches is cut by hand and then embroidered. This means that each one may look just a little different, but not much.
Approximate size: 3.85 inches wide x 2.95 inches high.
